The new site is still under development but the preview should whet your appetite for more, irrespective of whether you're an educator, a student or a curious visitor!
Many
of you that log in today will be doing so with a view to consider the
possibility of joining us as a teacher. The recruitment season is on in
full swing and our advertisements seeking an army of educators will have
appeared recently in the newspapers.
So
who are the educators of today? And what sort of backgrounds and
profiles will you bring to this interest in perhaps joining us in our
relentless battle against cynicism, pessimism and ignorance?
Perhaps
you are already an educator. Someone who has the professional
qualifications and the experience. And that you've taught more than a
few years in some of India's leading schools. Or perhaps you're a fresh B
Ed graduate. Maybe an International teacher with background in
integrated education. You could be someone who's taught at the IB
Diploma Level. Or the MYP or PYP Levels. A superstar in the ICSE-ISC or
CBSE world? Are you already widely acclaimed as a Math genius who
nurtures budding Einsteins? An accomplished Board Exam and Entrance Exam
expert?
Perhaps
you're someone who isn't a professional educator. Yet! But you wish to
be one. You wish to become part of a fraternity of educators at Tges
that are leading the charge towards transforming education, a profession
that is the last hold out against radical change among all the major
professions. You have a background in literature or you're just a
passionate reader. Or you are a sports fanatic with an interest in
physical education and wellness. Maybe you have a Geology degree and now
wish to explore teaching Geography in multidisciplinary fashion with
the sciences. Could be you love trekking and climbing mountains, that
you're a risk taker and like to push yourself to the limit. That you
like being in your no-comfort zone! Or are you a researcher with a PhD
now looking to teach science through its myriad applications? Even
someone who's been a home maker and with children now grown up, you're
looking to get back into the workforce.
Whatever!
You have the comfort of knowing that Tges looks eagerly for out of the
box thinkers and extraordinary teachers. That there's room for proven
experience and emerging potential. The aspirational teacher and the
teacher who never wanted to be anything else. For those who want to shun
the material world and those who see education as a wonderful
opportunity to maximise their talents.

All of you are welcome! More than at any other time in the history of
the world, the fate of humanity for good or bad, rests in the hands of
teachers of children. Because it is these children who will have to
shoulder the burden of the mistakes of the last two generations. And for
us adults, our salvation lies in preparing today's students with the
skills, abilities and understanding to eradicate the many ills that
currently plague communities across the world.
Come! Join us!! We're preparing to launch our next sigmoid curve and need all the help we can get!!
